In February 2020, Gradient9 Studios joined forces with Tactacam, a leader in outdoor surveillance, on a groundbreaking project – the Reveal Cellular Camera. They came to us at the very inception of the idea, giving us the unique opportunity to shape the product's identity from the ground up.
Our collaboration began with a logo design that captured the Reveal camera's core function: providing a discreet yet powerful glimpse into the natural world. This logo served as the cornerstone for a comprehensive brand identity. We developed a detailed style guide, ensuring a consistent visual language.
The digital hub for the Reveal camera became its website. We designed a user-friendly and visually appealing platform that showcased the camera's features and benefits. This online experience seamlessly integrated with the packaging design, which we also had the pleasure of creating. The packaging served a dual purpose: protecting the camera and extending the brand, generating excitement for potential customers.
Our work with the Reveal camera wasn't confined to the launch phase. Anticipating the pre-launch buzz, we created strategic social media ad campaigns to capitalize on the excitement. Following the highly successful launch, we continued to provide ongoing support, managing sales and promotional efforts.
The impact of our collaboration transcended the digital sphere. We translated the brand identity into physical store displays, ensuring a cohesive brand experience for customers encountering the Reveal camera in major retailers like Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, and Walmart. Seeing these displays in prominent retail locations was a testament to the product's success and a source of immense pride for our team.
Being involved from the very beginning of the Reveal camera's journey was an incredibly rewarding experience. Witnessing the product sell out at retailers within days of launch was a true validation of our collaborative efforts.
